This February, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) returns to a still-cold city. Despite the low temperatures and lingering snow banks—which will no doubt pose a challenge for fashion’s finest footwear—the energy is high.

While the official Fall/Winter 2026 shows begin on Wednesday, Feb. 11, the fashion elite started gathering on Monday to kick off the season. The final events are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 16. Note that some designers, such as Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren, hold exclusive shows off the official calendar ahead of time.

What to Expect:

If the recent runways in Milan and Paris are any indication, NYFW may feature softer, more curved silhouettes, moving away from the “clean-girl aesthetic.” Attendees can anticipate a shift towards classic color play, replacing the harsh angles seen in previous seasons. High-profile design houses like Coach, Sergio Hudson, and Norma Kamali are slated to show, with their front rows expected to be filled with A-list celebrities. Anne Hathaway and Gigi Hadid are among the stars who have already been spotted.

Key Dates for NYFW Fall/Winter 2026:

  • Official Start: Wednesday, Feb. 11

Official End: Monday, Feb. 16
